HI, My name is Bruce Grant and you can see from my photo I have been around for well over fifty years, just like many of the Orillia Gravenhurst and Muskoka homes cottages and commercial buildings I inspect.
  What you can't tell is that for forty of those years I have been in the Building and Renovation business. Many of those years serving clients in the Midland, Gravenhurst, Orillia, Port Carling, Bala, Bracebridge, and Muskoka area.

That's years of hands on practical experience.

 I know experience is critical in doing a home inspection right. I also realize education plays a large role in understanding the technical and mechanical aspects of a home inspection That's why I have invested over 600 hours in educational training as well.

 I am an InterNACHI Certified Home Inspector with over 120 hours of inspector training.
 I am a graduate of The Carson Dunlop Home Inspections Training Program www.carsondunlop.com adding another 480 hours to my home inspection specific education. (Carson Dunlop provides home inspection course content to Canadian colleges for their home inspection programs, and in some cases provides technical support for the college students via e-mail.)

I follow a strict CODE OF ETHICS and perform through inspections as laid out in the InterNACHI Standards of Practice for homes and commercial inspections.

There are inspection services who will do it "cheaper"

However in my fifty years experience I've learned you get what you pay for.

There are inspection services offering "free" services with your Inspection.

   Normally I take between 160 and 350 images of the building as a documentary of the home, cottage, or commercial building, on the day of inspection. My clients receive a detailed yet easy-to-read report with digital images of any defiencies, and all images added to the end of the report for furture reference.

   My report contains recommendations to correct or monitor any deficiencies noted in the inspection report
